During a recent project, I needed a secure way to share documents across a fairly large team. Many people required access to the same files, but most only needed to view them rather than upload or manage content. The available solutions I evaluated were largely priced on a per-user basis, which would have made the cost of simply providing viewing access unnecessarily high. The experience highlighted a clear gap between traditional file sharing platforms and the practical needs of teams collaborating on sensitive documents.
Having worked on several projects involving cloud infrastructure and secure systems, I realized there was an opportunity to build something better. That insight led to the design and implementation of TeamVault, a secure team document vault focused on controlled access, auditability, and flat-rate storage rather than per-user pricing. After building the core system and architecture, I partnered with a talented friend with deep experience in the SaaS industry to help refine the product as we prepare it for release.
TeamVault.cloud is in open beta.
